Two Fields Bakeshop is a destination where the worlds of allergy-friendly and gluten-free baked goods intersect to create an experience that satisfies even the most discerning customer.
Owner Nick Nikolopoulos, a second-generation French-trained pastry chef, has made it his mission to create a dedicated, safe kitchen for those with celiac disease and severe allergies. With his own sons and nephew facing life-threatening allergies to gluten, nuts, and dairy, Nick redirected his focus to the celiac and allergy-friendly space. He and his family also own Bay Ridge Bakery in Brooklyn, NY, since 1972, where Nick has mastered baking and pastry arts. His travels across the U.S. and abroad have deepened his understanding of the daily challenges people with food-related health issues face. Driven by a commitment to quality, Nick is passionate about making safe, delicious products that don’t compromise on taste or authenticity.
“I never sacrifice quality or taste just to sell a label,” Nick says. “For me, it’s about pushing the limits of what we can create without ingredients that harm people’s health, and laying the foundation for a more inclusive food industry.”
Our baked goods and popular bread line are featured in many locations across the tri-state area. Most items are prepackaged, labeled, and frozen to preserve quality and freshness without added sugars or preservatives. As a high-volume, zero-waste bakery, we offer the freshest products to our customers at affordable prices.
For over seven years, families have trusted our rigorous allergy-safe protocols. Two Fields products ship nationwide and are available at our Berkeley Heights, NJ bakery, select supermarkets, and other food establishments in the Northeast. Our certified gluten-free facility is entirely peanut, tree nut, and sesame-free. We also offer milk-free (dairy-free) and egg-free (vegan) options, prepared and displayed in a dedicated section to ensure safety.
I bought 2 nut-free, dairy-free cakes for my mother’s 89th birthday. She can’t eat dairy plus my son can’t eat nuts. The cakes were beautiful and absolutely delicious! I am so happy to have discovered this gem so close to home. THANK YOU!!!
